Uttar Pradesh forests and wildlife captivate visitors at the Global Wildlife Fair
Grand conclusion of the three-day Global Wildlife Fair sponsored by the Uttar Pradesh Eco-Tourism Development Board
At the Global Wildlife Fair, sponsored by the Uttar Pradesh Eco-Tourism Development Board, the forests and wildlife of Uttar Pradesh fascinated visitors from India and abroad. The state pavilion showcased Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, and other prominent tourism destinations along with their luxurious eco-stay options. Visitors were introduced to the unique natural and wildlife heritage of the state.
The presence of tigers, rhinos, elephants, swamp deer (barasingha), and gharial in Dudhwa Tiger Reserve drew special attention and appreciation from attendees.
Held from October 10–12 at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, the fair revolved around the theme “Harmony Between Nature, Humans, and Wildlife.” Its aim was to promote responsible tourism and collective conservation efforts.
Conservation experts, eco-tourism operators, researchers, and nature enthusiasts from several countries participated in the event. Representatives from leading eco-properties of Uttar Pradesh — including Dudhwa Hideaway, Chambal Wildlife Safari Mela Camp, and Dudhwa Nirvana Retreat — also took part in the fair.
