On the occasion of World Tourism Day, September 27, the Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board organized a special tour for the members of the Yuva Tourism Club. During the tour, students experienced up close the major natural attractions located in Lucknow, Kanpur, Kannauj, and Unnao.

The Yuva Tourism Club members visited Lucknow Zoo, Kukrail Reserve Forest, Kanpur Zoo, Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary, and Lakh Bahosi Bird Sanctuary in Kannauj. Students observed the natural beauty and biodiversity at these sites.

The regions of Lucknow, Kanpur, and nearby areas are naturally very rich and offer immense potential for eco-tourism. The Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board is preparing a one-day tour package of these sites to enable more youth and tourists to experience nature and wildlife up close. In this sequence, the tour for the Yuva Tourism Club members was successfully conducted.
