The Dudhwa National Park in Lakhimpur Kheri district is located in the Terai-Bhabhar region bordering Nepal, about 230 km from Lucknow.
Located some 30 kms from Dudhwa National Park, this sanctuary spreads over 203 sq kms and lies along the banks of the Sharada. Kishanpur's vegetation resembles Dudhwa's,
Spread over an area of 263 sq kms, Ranipur Wildlife Sanctuary is nestled in the Vindhyachal range.
Chandra Prabha Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Chandauli district near Varanasi.
Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary is a part of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve. It is managed along with the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuaryand Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary.
Amangarh Tiger Reserve is located in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. It is spread over an area of 95 square kilometres
Covering approximately 5,400 sq kms of area across the three states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan is the National Chambal Sanctuary.
Suhaildev Wildlife Sanctuary, in the District circle of Balrampur and Shravasti, close to the lndo-Nepal border is spread over an area of 452 sq kms.

Had an unforgettable experience with UP Tourism! From jungle, boat, and train safaris to exploring Dudhwa, Kishanpur, and Katarniaghat - every moment was magical. Never expected UP to be this wild and wonderful! Highly recommend it to all nature lovers.
I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Uttar Pradesh in May with the Eco Tourism Board, and I must say the overall arrangements were excellent. The trip was well-organized, comfortable, and allowed us to experience a wide variety of unique locations.The hospitality, transport, and accommodation provided were commendable, and the coordination from the team made the experience smooth.
Up until this point, days had been full of life and people and noise and traffic and riots of colour but the next day, as I floated down the Girwa river in a small boat through Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, it was suddenly just quiet and green.
